OVERVIEW:
In 2018, I curated the first creative placemaking gallery exhibition in partnership with the University of Maryland. The exhibition highlights 10 creative placemaking projects from across the country, each supported by ArtPlace, each addressing a community need, and each working within a traditional community planning and development sector.
As a free open-source exhibition, it has been presented by galleries across the US including at the Indigenous Design + Planning Institute at the University of New Mexico, and in the cities of Jackson, MS, Cincinnati, OH, and Philadelphia, PA. In 2020, we launched an interactive digital publication of the exhibition.
